PSV started this match extremely concentrated and sharp and NAC's defense could not prevent PSV from making it 0-2 within 5 minutes through goals by Zakaria and Riechedly. After this NAC recovered somewhat and got some small chances but these were handled expertly by Thomas. PSV picked up the pace and put NAC under a lot of pressure, which resulted in two goals in quick succession, both scored by Zakaria. We went into half time with a 0-4 lead.

In the second half basically the same pattern, PSV was supreme today and was also sharp in front of goal, first it was Juan and a little later Niels, who took the score to 0-6 with a fantastic shot. After this NAC did something back, via a nice free kick (against the crossbar) Grad Damen headed in the rebound 1-6. After this goal it was again PSV that dominated and the well playing Junior de Lima dos Santos provided a nice final chord. In the last 10 minutes he scored a nice hat trick, making the final score 1-9. All in all a good game by PSV and on to next week.
