  1. Match report

After King Winter left the country again, football can be played again today. The training sessions last week, were marked by several slip-ups, but this morning everyone is back with both feet on the ground. Although, everyone. Benji unfortunately had to drop out with an injury. The boys have been in a winning mood in recent weeks and we will see if we can continue this trend against Helmond Sport, the no.4 team in the league. The previous game they were down 2-0 after only two minutes, but they learned from this, as they started the game with a lot of concentration and PSV tried to control the game. The opening phase therefore mainly takes place in midfield. PSV seems to create a field superiority but it is Helmond Sport that leads 0-1 after 10 minutes of play. PSV goes in search of the equalizer and 5 minutes later through Greg they deservedly score 1-1. PSV goes in search of more and after a corner kick is turned away, the ball lands at the feet of Jay, who leaves the Helmond goalkeeper defenseless 2-1. PSV continued to play football and seemed to be on a roll when Greg, who was once again tireless today, scored 3-1. Just before halftime Helmond Sport did something back. Their fast left winger was sent deep and could put the ball back to a fellow player who tapped in the 3-2. This is also the score at halftime. Encouraged by this tying goal, Helmond went in search of more, but the defense held firm. And when a ball passes, Kyan is playing well. Helmond Sport is under pressure, but without creating any real chances. After fifteen minutes Helmond's pressure decreases and PSV comes closer to the Helmond goal. After a few pinpricks it is Davy who seems to decide the match by scoring the 4-2 and celebrates this on the basis of previously viewed TV images. It is again Davy who after a watched pass from Sem then puts the game finally on lock and puts the final score of 5-2 on the board. Good run boys and still all chances for the second period title if VVV are also won next week.
