PSV C2 retaliated in the home match against Feyenoord C2 for the defeat suffered earlier in the autumn competition in Rotterdam. An unrecognizable Feyenoord C2 had little to contribute against a well playing PSV C2 and were dealt a 3-0 defeat.
PSV C2 opened strongly and a number of chances were created immediately through 'guest player' Mohammed Rayhi (Moohtje), which as yet were not promoted to goals. Feyenoord C2 was sent from pillar to post and after fifteen minutes Jorrit Hendrix broke through the Feyenoord C2 defense. His shot was cleverly turned away by the excellent Feyenoord C2 keeper, but in the rebound Rai VLoet put the ball (and his opponent) in the goal (1-0). Five minutes after the opening goal it was already 2-0 when Moohtje again showed his opponent his heels and delivered a good cross, which was shot in at the second post by Rai Vloet, who ran along well and was left free. What a luxury! PSV C2 stayed on top and it was thanks to good goalkeeping by Feyenoord that PSV C2 did not score again until half time.
From the start of the second half, Feyenoord coach Gaston Taument (ex-Feyenoord 1 and ex-Netherlands XI team) brought two fresh forces into the field, but this did not bring the Rotterdammers much of a gain. PSV C2 remained the significantly stronger side in this match, and Feyenoord C2 were fortunate when Endy Opoku Bernadina hit the inside of the post in the fortieth minute. In the forty-fifth minute, PSV C2 decided the match when Jorrit Hendrix offered an unmissable chance to Endy Opoku Bernadina (3-0). Feyenoord seemed to score twice after this, but Jeroen Meurs managed to make fantastic saves both times, having to be replaced after the second save from the cross injured by Daan ('taking on') Bollen, who in turn managed to maintain the 'zero'. At the other end, PSV C2 failed to run away from Feyenoord C2, with Endy Opoku Bernadina's shot against the underside of the crossbar in particular deserving of a better fate.
It remains to be mentioned that the Feyenoord goalie also had to leave the field injured, after which PSV C2 freewheeled out of the match. With two more league games to go, PSV C2 has the chances in their own hands to finish the spring competition in the top three!
