Beforehand, the players were instructed to put plenty of pressure from the 1st minute. This order was carried out well. Early in the match, PSV took the lead through Joris who, on a pass from Gioele, was able to tap in an opportunity 0-1. Shortly after, Gioele himself was able to score from a solo 0-2. PSV had many more opportunities to extend the score, but the ball just wouldn't go in. PSV was sloppy in their finishing on the one hand and good goalkeeping on the other. Shortly before half time Joris was put free in front of the goal by Deveron and again Joris was successful 0-3.

Also after halftime PSV was the better team and put the opponent under pressure again. But the opponent continued to play well. After more than half an hour Gioele was just in the right place to shoot a blocked shot from close range over the line 0-4. After 40 minutes Martijn broke through on the right and delivered a well placed cross to Dylan who shot the ball 0-5. Five minutes before time PSV played sloppy defense and Lucas had to concede a goal 1-5. Shortly before time Joris went on an adventure on his own and almost got the ball into the goal 1-6. In the last minute Veldhoven determined the final score with a hard slide 2-6.

PSV played fantastic this match. The coach's instructions were well executed, they worked hard and combined beautifully. Compliments for that. A deserved victory for PSV.
