PSV D1 started the game well and immediately created a huge field advantage, with several good chances unfortunately being killed off.
After 20 minutes in the first half, Jorrit Hendrix headed a kick from TOP's goalkeeper straight back to the sprinting Endy Opoku Bernadina, who outsmarted TOP's defense, neatly rounded the goalkeeper and slotted in the 1-0.
Shortly before half time, Rai Vloet played himself free and saw TOP's long goalkeeper coming out of his goal a bit too far. From about thirty meters Rai lobbed the ball beautifully over the goalkeeper into the empty goal (2-0).
After halftime, TOP tried to change course by starting the second half with a new battle plan. However, PSV continued to play with concentration and after ten minutes in the second half Jeroen Meefout cut the ball through at the mid-line to the strong playing Aron Schnorrenberg, who in turn sent Jeroen deep. Jeroen Meefout evaded two TOP defenders and left the keeper defenseless with a well-aimed slide (3-0). The match was played and ten minutes before time Joep 'Epi Drost' Van Vroenhoven gave a beautiful deep pass to Endy Opoku Bernadina, who again beat TOP's defense at speed and made it 4-0.
