Roda JC C is today's opponent for the Boys of PSV E2. The away game in Kerkrade had ended in a 6-7 victory for PSV, so the boys know that today will not be an easy task.
Coach Patrick said before the match that he suspected that not all players were awake, and if you are not awake you cannot start the match sharp. And that the coach was right was already visible on the scoreboard after 1 minute 0-1 for Roda. So now they were woken up very quickly and we knew we had to play full steam ahead. We played better football, but despite a shot by Jaivy, a header by Jesper and a shot by Julian we were still trailing until Seb scored the equalizer and also before half time we took the lead through a nice goal by Julian. With 2-1 we went into the first half.
In the first minute of the second half the boys immediately showed us what the intention is, Seb, Julian and Jesper all 3 had a scoring attempt but unfortunately none of them scored, but at least the intention is clear. In the 5th minute of the 2nd half the boys show how football should be played, they open from the defense to the other side of the field, where they create a nice 1-2 to a cross, unfortunately Jaivy is 1 cm too small to be able to head the ball in otherwise this would have been the perfect attack, now the attack was perfect just a pity they could not score. 1 Minute later the ball from a free kick lands exactly on Jaivy's head and he shows he can score with his head 3-1. Roda scores 1 more time in the 2nd half so we can rest with a 3-2 lead.

In the 3rd half we see a brilliant goal by Jesper, after a tailored cross from Mees he takes the ball in 1 time on the slipper and via bottom bar the ball goes hard into the goal. Jesper and Jaivy both scored once more in the third half and so the 3 points deserved to stay in Eindhoven. In the last minutes there was a scare because of an injury to Floris. Jaivy hit Floris' ankle and it hurt a lot, luckily the physio found out that there was no damage, so a few days a little pain and it will be over soon. After this 6-2 victory we all supported the E1 to victory.
