PSV was in the game well from the beginning. We had a lot of ball possession and were on top, but no chances yet. After 5 minutes Niek shot the ball right into the crossbar with a fantastic long distance shot 1-0. After a quarter of an hour it was 2-0 by Sven from a free kick that went in excellently. Shortly after, Joris had another great chance but his shot unfortunately went just wide.

In the second period, PSV continued to play good football and hunt for the third goal. That goal came after just under half an hour. Joris gave a great curve ball from the right that fell behind the Fortuna defense, Sven was in the right place to take this ball and with a placed shot over the ground he shot the ball past the goalie 3-0.

Also in the third period PSV continued with good football. On a pass from Livano, Joris put the ball past the goalie 4-0. Fortuna, who played well all game long, came back. After a beaten PSV attack Fortuna started a well executed counter. From this counter a well placed ball made it 4-1. Livano then hit the post with a hard shot. In the rebound Joey was alert to shoot the ball in 5-1. Joris determined the final score from a counter after Nassim was able to serve him with a tailored splitting pass 6-1.
