Immediately after the kickoff, DBS was put under pressure and soon PSV had the best chances to take the lead. After about 10 minutes that is exactly what happened. From a one-two through the center between Martijn and Dylan, the latter was able to place the ball in the left corner 1-0. Five minutes later Joep was able to intercept the ball after a defensive error by DBS. Joep had the corner to choose from and shot the ball 2-0. PSV went hunting for a big score but played too offensive and too eager. This created too much space in the back allowing DBS to counter well. After a high ball came back off the crossbar, the DBS striker could easily finish 2-1. A few minutes later DBS came alongside with a beautiful lob over our goalkeeper 2-2. In the 23rd minute PSV shot twice at the post. On the stroke of half time PSV took the lead again through Martijn who was in the right place after a blocked shot 3-2.

Also after the break PSV played strong. In the ninth minute of the second half Joep was able to score from a solo shot 4-2. Less than a minute later it was 5-2 from a directly taken free kick by Dylan. After that Joep was able to score three more times with Mats giving three times the decisive assist. Final score 8-2.

The positional play and cooperation was very good today. A deserved victory for PSV and compliments to everyone.
