Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the home game against Ajax O.17.
In the 1st half, the teams were evenly matched.
In the 19th minute, PSV went down 0-1. After the goalkeeper of PSV came out the referee wrongly ruled that this was not according to the rules.
The penalty was initially saved by Lasse Mikkelsen, but in the rebound the ball was shot in.
Half-time score 0-1.
PSV started the second half strongly and quickly equalized. After a nice cross from Mathias Bonde, Joey Konings was able to slide the ball past the goalkeeper.
PSV was stronger in this phase but still it was Ajax that took the lead again.
In the 65th minute it became 1-2.
Three minutes later it was 1-3.
PSV tried to look for the tying goal in the last quarter of an hour but was unable to force anything. It was even lucky that the defeat did not go any higher.
Final score 1-3
Next Friday PSV O.17 plays a cup game in Breda against NAC O.17.
