Today the first match after the carnival. The boys had a vacation all week and have to leave early for Kerkrade.
Roda JC A is today's opponent, a strong opponent as the previous games have shown.
Before the game our goalkeeper Tijn Smolenaars was injured so we decided to put Mees Hoeben in goal.
In the 1st half of the match PSV was the dominant side and played very good football. With some very nice goals they managed to go into halftime with 2-1.
Also in the 2nd half it was PSV that was better, again chances but unfortunately no goals. Roda JC did manage to score and so we went into the break with a 2-2 score.
In the 3rd half Mees was also too injured to continue and we decided to put Tijn on goal anyway, we knew he was difficult to shoot out and tried to build up constantly.
This immediately resulted in another lead, 3-2. After this Roda JC started to play 1 on 1 and put pressure all over the pitch. This became too much for us, we had trouble getting out of it and lost the match 5-3.
Great game today boys, a lot of fun and showed how good you can play football!
