We played today at home against VVV D2. A direct competitor for the play offs. Nassim unfortunately got injured and could not participate. Joris and our goalkeepers are helping the E-youth.
In the first half VVV pinned us down. We didn't get to play football and had a very hard time against a fierce VVV. After seven minutes we were already down 1-0. Ten minutes later VVV also made it 0-2. We played a mediocre first half, we really had to improve.
Fortunately we were able to play more football in the second half. Mylian scored the tying goal after only a few minutes. A beautiful free kick. 1-2. We became stronger and we got more and more opportunities.
In the third half we had to play all or nothing. We were much stronger and VVV did not cross the center line anymore. We won every game and worked very hard. Through Joep, Dylan and D'leanu we had big chances for the 2-2. Unfortunately we were unlucky in finishing. Final score, 1-2.
We started the game very badly today. Fortunately we showed that we go through fire for each other and can turn a game around. Unfortunately we were not rewarded for this. Next week we play at 9.30 at Roda JC.
