Last Saturday, PSV B1 played the away match against Ajax B1. A match between #2 and #3 of the league table. Prior to this match PSV B1 had 1 point ahead of Ajax B1. PSV B1 started the match strongly and got an early lead. In the 8th min Kenneth Paal scored on a pass from Gokhan Kardes.
After this the game went up and down and both teams created some chances. The best chances were for PSV B1. PSV B1 seemed to be resting with a 0-1 lead but in injury time of the first half Matthias Verreth scored 0-2. After a cross from Dirk Abels he shot the ball directly into the goal. Half-time score 0-2.

In the 2nd half, PSV was clearly the better team. The good chances did not materialize so Ajax stayed in the game. From a corner by Kenneth Paal, Dani van der Moot headed in the liberating 0-3. A minute later the match was decided. Ramon Pascal Lundqvist sent Steven Bergwijn into the depths with a beautiful cross. Steven Bergwijn was much faster than his direct opponent and was able to make it 0-4 with an extreme effort.
The final chord was also for PSV. In the last minute of official playing time Dani van der Moot scored his 2nd goal of the afternoon. After an action and cross from Youandi Renfurm, Dani was able to tap the ball in. Final score 0-5.

No league program next week. PSV B1 plays a cup game against Feyenoord O.16 on Saturday, March 15.
