After winning the league game against DBS on Saturday with 13 - 1, the supporters of our F1 came from far and wide (even as far as Eemnes) for Sunday's game against Brabantia F1 hoping for more opposition. Given the reaction from the Brabantia camp to the report of the game against WVVZ, that should be somewhat good.

However, it soon became apparent that this match too would be a one-sided affair. Fuelled by their coach with a large portion of decibels, Brabantia's talents did their best but rarely managed to break out towards the PSV goal, let alone actually get close to it.

In the fourth minute, Cody was the man who opened the scoring. He did so via the inside of the post and on a pass from Robin who delivered his first assist of the match from the right side after some of his inimitable passing moves.

Within 3 minutes Robin added his second assist during the most fluid attack of the morning. The attack was set up by James who on the right of the axis from the dribble threatened to play Robin down the touchline. Instead, James surprised Brabantia's left back with a cross ball through the center that Aissati can only dream of, to Robin. With one touch Robin transported the ball past the 2nd post where Bjorn was ready to pop it into the net very nicely at the 1st post. An attack out of the book according to your reporter as well as some supporters in his immediate vicinity.

In the eleventh minute Cody scored his next goal, this time with a diagonal shot after a solo from the right side. Five minutes after that, it was Robin's turn again. He received the ball from Cody and scored 4-0 with a diagonal shot with his left leg after a fantastic drag in from the right side.

The 5-0 was scored by Cody after 21 minutes after a dribble in which he passed several opponents. The 6-0 was also worth the effort, via a very deft overhead kick by Luc the ball ended up in the goal. In the 34th minute Robin scored his next goal, the 7-0. After an attack on the left that was set up by Bjorn and Ruud, he outplayed 2 defenders and poked the ball very cleverly into the short corner.

Not long after, Cody followed Robin's example by, after a long ball from James, controlled the keeper from the dribble and also scored in the short corner. Meanwhile, 40 minutes had been played, the counter stood at 8 and Baggio joined the ranks of goal scorers. He scored on a pass from Cody who picked up the ball after a solo from James. James himself scored another minute later to make it 10-0.

In the 44th minute, it was 11-0. This time the preparation was clear from Robin. Whether it was ultimately Baggio or a player from Brabantia who scored was less clear from the sidelines. Two minutes after the 11-0, James scored with a slide after a 1-2 combination with Baggio.

In minutes 47 and 48 there was another goal scored by our cappers. First it was Baggio with a nice low distance shot into the left corner from about 20 meters. Right after that Ruud scored the 14-0. In minute 53 Cody scored the 15-0 on a pass from Ruud who pulled the ball back from the back line in a controlled manner. The next PSV goal was also scored by Cody. He did so on a pass from Jordan who finished a long solo on the left with a cross to Cody.

For Brabantia at the end of the match there was still payback for their efforts. They scored in the 58th minute with a hard shot just under the crossbar. For the youngest Brabantians a well-deserved reward for their perseverance and good match mentality.

Also this time the ball contacts of our goalkeepers Merijn and Pepijn could be counted on the fingers of one hand. In the final series of penalty kicks they both stopped one penalty. Merijn did so by boxing the ball out of the goal with a nice floating dive to the right and Pepijn by working a high ball up over the crossbar and then catching it very calmly.

Next Saturday our F1 has their next league game coming up, this time an away game against the number two of the league, RKVVO F1. Start of the match is 09:30 am. When this match is won the championship can be taken at the next match.
