After last Wednesday's dramatic display in Glasgow, today the next opponent in the cup tournament is Fc Den Bosch. We have to work hard to secure the next round.
We start fairly brightly and pretty quickly have the opponent under our thumb. In the ninth minute there really is a classic attack on the left from which Clint crosses and from the right Moussa has come in for the goal and shoots the ball into the net. We continue on our way and after eighteen minutes it is Alex who releases a shot, the goalkeeper stops the ball and it is Albian who shoots in the 2 - 0. This goal is a textbook example of "changeover" as we always say. Yet we slow down and this is the reason why Den Bosch can play more football and from a corner after 22 minutes they manage to put the 2 - 1 on the board with a (tenable) header.
We picked up the thread and forced the opponent back into defense. Clint played a ball to Rai, who hit the bar. Just before halftime there is another chance for Albian, but it doesn't go in the goal either.
We go into the break with a 2 - 1 score. After the tea break we continue on the same path. We got some chances but were unable to beat their goalie. After about an hour an attack on the left and after a dribbling action by Alex he passes a ball across the width of the field to Rai who shoots the 3 - 1 from 18 meters with a truly phenomenal shot. What a goal.
So we wash away the bad taste of Wednesday with a nice 3 - 1 win and the next round in the cup is certain.
