    Report:
The cracker of the weekend, the unbeaten number 1 (MVV D1) against the unbeaten number 2 (PSV D1). Moreover, finally the desired solid opposition. The match was full of fight and excitement. PSV D1 again played at a high tempo, put immediate pressure on MVV when the ball was lost, had a field superiority and created a handful of good chances (including a shot against the crossbar). MVV D1 disrupted the build-up already in the PSV half and was also threatening in stationary situations. In the first half the PSV goalkeeper prevented an almost certain goal by MVV with a brilliant reflex after a free kick. PSV finally broke the score open - just before the halftime signal - after a faulty return ball by MVV. After halftime, the picture was the same. PSV again went on the attack full of conviction for a quick decision of the match, MVV lurked on the counter. After a well-taken corner kick, MVV scored the equalizer with a well-placed header. However, from the ensuing kickoff, PSV immediately took the lead again with a swift and streamlined attack, effectively breaking MVV's resistance. A third PSV goal also followed a few minutes later. More goals for PSV were then possible, but did not materialize and thus PSV deservedly won and with this victory finally took over first place from MVV.
