PSV B1 played a home match against Roda JC B1. From the beginning of the match, PSV had a field advantage. The opponent retreated to their own half and tried to become dangerous through quick counter attacks and standard situations. This almost succeeded after a free kick but the goal was disallowed due to offside. PSV played at too slow a pace in the first half to create any clear-cut chances. In the 34 min it was Martijn Berden who scored the 1-0 after conquering the ball.

After the break, PSV upped the tempo and put the opponent under more pressure. Between the 43rd and 53rd minute PSV ran out to a 4-0 lead through goals by Dani van der Moot(2x) and Marco Weymans. Especially the 3-0 from Dani van der Moot was very impressive. From the edge of the 16-meter area he shot the ball over the goalkeeper into the far corner. The match was decided. In the 65th min Martijn Berden scored his 2nd goal and brought the final score to 5-0.
