Match report:
Today PSV had to concede the first goals against. Helmond Sport played to capacity, with a lot of fight and commitment. PSV, on the other hand, was unconcentrated and far too lazy - especially in the first half - and went behind twice as a result. At halftime in the locker room, clear language was spoken. In the second half, PSV played from a completely different perspective. PSV grabbed the opponent by the scruff of the neck and did not give away any chances. Within 10 minutes PSV scored 3 times with some flashy actions and broke the brave resistance of Helmond Sport. Even with a bit more focus and concentration in the attack, the score could have ended in double digits, but Helmond Sport was spared this and the counter stopped at 6-2 in favor of PSV today.
