After last week's good game, we were confident that we would win for the first time today. Martijn and Tim joined the E1 and Genrich, from the D2, joined us.
In the first half we did not play strongly. We struggled in the build-up and only managed to create one opportunity. Genrich pounced on Den Bosch's goalkeeper. Unfortunately, Den Bosch managed to take advantage of our sloppiness and did score. 1-0.
We had to do better in the second half. We had to be more careful in the build-up so that we could play football. But we did not succeed. We had a few small opportunities but did not score. Also Den Bosch did not become dangerous anymore.
In the third half we hoped the games could turn around. Scoring quickly and taking home a victory was the plan. We worked hard, but we were still sloppy and restless on the ball. FC Den Bosch punished that mercilessly. They scored three goals and won 4-0.
We did not play well today and because of that we could not make a fist against Den Bosch. Next week we play at home against VVV, then we hope for a better game.
