Last week, PSV had the opportunity to take the championship in Dongen. This match was lost so today against NAC PSV had another chance to take the championship.

PSV started the match strongly and in the fifth minute it was Amin who tried to outsmart the NAC goalkeeper with a shot from outside the penalty area which did not succeed. On the counter attack, NAC had the chance to score but the ball went wide. In the 11th minute, PSV got a free kick. From 30 meters, Amin shot the ball hard at goal. This time the NAC goalie did not handle the ball well and it rolled into the goal 0-1. PSV continued well and put NAC on the defensive. In the 14th minute Luuk intercepted the ball when NAC was defending. His shot was turned into a corner by the goalkeeper. The corner was headed onto the crossbar by Jeremy. After NAC resumed play, PSV immediately had the ball again. The ball eventually came to Genrich who shot hard and high. The NAC goalie saved again. PSV had several chances but failed to score. The next chance was in the 21st minute. From his own half, Amin ran up and played a nice ball to Luuk. Luuk's tight shot was saved by the NAC goalkeeper. PSV had the field advantage and the home club hardly got any chances. This field superiority did produce a goal in the 24th minute after a deep ball from Heritier to Jeremy at the left forward position. Jeremy played the ball wide to the free-standing Genrich. Genrich shot the 0-2 through the inside of the post. In the remainder of the first half, PSV was the better side but no more goals were scored.

At the beginning of the second half, PSV immediately had a big chance. However, the ball was shot wide. In the 42nd minute, the home club had a great chance to connect. However, the shot went wide via Peter. One minute later a NAC player had the opportunity to score from a corner. The shot was turned away from the goal line by Peter. NAC became stronger in this phase of the match and PSV had to fight back. NAC got a few more opportunities but the chances were not taken. NAC lost faith in the last ten minutes of the match and PSV took control again. In the 56th Mathijs played the ball wide to Djurre. Djurre's shot went just over. Also a shot by Jur in injury time did not find a goal so the final score was 0-2.

With this victory PSV is champion of the second division with 53 points from 20 matches.
