Two more finals and then wait and see what the opponents do. Today the opponent is Willem II. They are a lot lower in the rankings but in the away game they were also 0 - 0.
So warned.
The weather is beautiful at the Herdgang, a nice sun, nice temperature, quite a few spectators and a group that is in the mood. Also the trainers. We start brightly, which is logical if you want to become champions, but not everyone understands that, because it was not possible to spray the field beforehand.
But we start brightly and pretty soon the first chances come. The chances of Mo, Alberto, Albian and Rai do not yet hit the target but the first half is Albian's half. After eleven minutes he manages to finish a nice attack via Clint and Jorrit with his head. After 17 minutes a ball from Jorrit from a corner and Albian scores the 2 - 0 and just before half time Albian scores the 3 - 0 after a great action from Mo. A real hat-trick, in one half as well, so great. After the break we get chances again but we have to wait for about fifteen minutes until Albian can intercept a ball, after good pressure on Willem II, and with a lob it is 4 - 0. Also ten minutes later it is Albian again after a pass from Mo and the 5 - 0 is a fact. What a day for Albian, five goals in a game and in a row. Then the ball on the crossbar is also a fact to be mentioned. We keep going and after almost 80 minutes it is Geraldo who after a nice action of Sander shoots the final score of 6 - 0 on the board.
Meanwhile, we have also received the result of our direct competitor Feyenoord and so next Saturday it is up or down in and against Utrecht. And our invisible opponent will be playing in Alkmaar. And so you see that after the lows of recent weeks we can enjoy the highs again today. First Sunday the whole group is invited to the game against NEC and then the preparation for next week against Utrecht starts.
Guys good luck. I hope with you and will certainly enjoy it when the time comes.
