PSV, despite the cold weather, started the match well. Pressure was applied in time and we went firmly into the duels. After 3 minutes PSV took the lead through a fantastically played goal. From the middle Dylan gave a splitting pass to Tim who then gave the ball to Joep. Joep was able to shoot freely from close range 0-1. Not much later Dylan was able to conquer the ball from the Geldrop defense and shot the ball past the goalkeeper 0-2.
The last weeks PSV kept faltering after the second goal. We shot 3 times at the post and missed in front of an open goal. The third goal did not materialize. Geldrop was able to slot in the tying goal from close range after the ball was inadvertently pointed by the PSV defense with a header on target 1-2. Shortly afterwards Martijn managed to conquer the ball and shot hard and high into the ropes 1-3. On the stroke of half-time Tim was able to intercept the ball and worked it into the goal 1-4.

Also after halftime PSV was the better team but failed to extend the score further. PSV hit the post twice before scoring again. After more than half an hour Dylan was able to put the ball in the corner 1 - 5. Lander then managed to prevent a goal with a cat-like save. Geldrop scored a goal after 40 minutes. From a corner kick a PSV defender shot the ball with his left leg into his own goal 2-5. Less than a minute later PSV got a corner kick and from this Joep could head in hard 2-6. At the end of the match Geldrop decided the final score from a well executed counter 3-6.

PSV deserved to win again today. You helped each other in difficult situations. Well done and compliments to everyone.
