Due to injuries, PSV had to play today without substitutions and with an F goalkeeper in goal. Nevertheless, PSV started the game fantastic. After two minutes, PSV took the lead through a solo by Joep 1-0. Shortly after that it became 2-0 by Martijn who, on a pass from Gioele, scored accurately. After that there were many chances to extend the lead. Unfortunately PSV did not succeed. After 10 minutes the opponent got into the game. A nice long distance shot made it 2-1. Weak defending equalized and shortly thereafter the opponent took the lead 2-3. After fifteen minutes Martijn equalized the score on a pass from Mats 3-3.

PSV was also the better team in the second half, but the ball would not go in. Only halfway the second half PSV could take distance with good combination play. On an assist by Mats Joep could bring PSV back on the lead 4-3. Not much later Joep made it 5-3 on an assist from Martijn. Five minutes before the final whistle Joep made it 6-3. A difficult but justified victory for PSV. Congratulations to all players and thanks to Lucas for the goalkeeping.
