  1. Match report

PSV D1 took a big 8-0 victory in the away match against Helmond Sport D1. PSV got off to a good start and after only five minutes of play Clint Leemans headed in the 0-1 from a perfect cross from Vinnie Vermeer. Shortly afterwards a good combination between Vinnie Vermeer, Olivier Rommens and 'man of the match' Rai Vloet followed, which Rai finished off coolly (0-2). After this it was the turn of Jorrit Hendrix who, with the ball on a rubber band, advanced from his own half and shot the 0-3 into the crossbar from the sixteen meters. Rai Vloet, who played very strongly in ten, managed to make it 0-4 shortly thereafter, after which Endy Opoku Bernadina fired in the 0-5.
After halftime, it was again Rai Vloet's turn to chase the 0-6 against the net. Then it was Clint Leemans' turn again to score the 0-7 with a beautiful volley. Rai Vloet then made it 0-8 with his fourth goal (!) in this match. With fifteen minutes left on the clock, the double digits seemed possible on this beautiful day of football, but PSV did not score any more goals. Helmond Sport tried to save the honor, but thanks to a heroic save by Jeroen Meurs, PSV was spared a goal.
Thanks to this victory PSV D1 retains full chances for the championship.
