A1 unnecessary loss in Glasgow!

PSV was apparently shocked by the ferocity with which Celtic came out of the starting blocks. Only after seventeen minutes the team came close to Celtic's goal for the first time. The team was then already 3-0 behind. Some personal mistakes were to blame. Despite that, the team recovered and Geraldo Antonio made it 3-1 with a fine goal.

After halftime, PSV took control and opportunities arose. Mohamed Rayhi had the tying goal on his head but his header hit the bar.
With a few substitutions the trainers tried to strengthen the game. PSV remained dominant but failed to score any more goals.
