Match report:
No doubt NAC Breda was shocked by last week's result Willem II - PSV. Especially after PSV took the lead very quickly in the match, all windows and doors were nailed shut by NAC. As a result, PSV had a lot of ball possession and still had half a dozen chances. On the other hand, PSV's goalkeeper had to intervene well on a NAC long-distance shot. But, we could not score any more goals.
After halftime, the picture became even more one-sided. PSV did quickly score the "liberating" goal, but then ran into a yellow-black wall. NAC defended well and concentrated, but as a result hardly got over the center line themselves, let alone near PSV's 16-meter. PSV did not score anymore and after the final whistle NAC was visible with the limited damage.
