From the start of the second half, PSV took control. In the 35th minute a nice attack over several drives through the heart of FC Den Bosch's defense was shot just wide. PSV became stronger and put FC Den Bosch under pressure. FC Den Bosch lurked for the possibility of a quick break-out. Neither side got any real chances. The devil was in the tail of this match. In the 53rd minute a shot by a PSV player was cleared off the goal line by an FC Den Bosch defender. Two minutes later, PSV took the lead. A PSV corner was initially cleared. Quinn brought the ball back into the goal mouth. Yorbe rounded a player and tapped in the 1-0. In the last minute the referee put the ball on the spot for FC Den Bosch after a foul by a PSV defender. The penalty kick was shot just wide. The next fast PSV attack was tapped in by Quinn, 2-0. This was also the final score.
