  1. Match report

Today the important away game against Nuenen who had beaten us in the first game. PSV therefore had something to put right. With a very good run in their legs and full of confidence, the E1 left for Nuenen. In the early stages both sides played wait-and-see. After five minutes Jesse was able to break through from the left at full speed and with a cross managed to put Joep free in front of an open goal. With a tap-in PSV took the lead 0-1. Shortly afterwards Dylan and Jesper both had a good chance to score. Unfortunately both chances went just wide. After 10 minutes Jesse scored with a low long distance shot 0-2. Nuenen, which continued to play well, could not really be dangerous because the PSV defense was solid. Shortly before half time PSV scored two more goals. On a pass from Nassim, Joep scored 0-3 and from a one-two from Tim and Jesse, Tim scored 0-4. With this large lead PSV went into the break.

    Half-time score 0 - 4.

Also after halftime the positional play of PSV remained top. On a pass from Nassim, Jesse scored the 0-5. Shortly after this goal Nuenen did something back. After losing the ball in midfield the ball went to the Nuenen striker who hit the ball with a dry and hard slide that left our goalie without a chance - 1-5. Despite this goal, PSV continued to play good football. A great pass from Joep put Nassim in front of the goalie who put the ball in the goal 1-6. Nassim also set the final score on a pass from Tim 1-7.
