Tuesday 01-04-2014 we went to visit Willem II/RKC
On this beautiful spring day we played a difficult match. on a not really level field we did not get to play good combination football.
We did not create really good chances and tried too much with distance shots, without success.
Willem II/RKC were also unable to do anything offensively and the first half ended 0-0.
The second started slightly better, and in the 20th minute Yasin received the ball from a throw-in on the edge of the penalty area, with his back to the goal, and from the turn he managed to shoot the ball tightly into the cross. 0-1.
In the 15 minute it was another hit. Vince was able to cross the ball from the right. Sekou's effort was first stopped by the goalkeeper, but Davy was alert and shot the returning ball in. 0-2.
After this it seemed to become a game full of goals, because Willem II/RKC shot the 1-2 from distance in the 19th minute.
However, this does not happen. PSV had no more problems, and in the 33rd minute the final score was 1-3 through a breakaway on the right by Yasin, who crossed the ball to Arne at the far post. Not a best game, but the first of four games in twelve days has been won. On to next Saturday for the next match.
