The first attack, after 45 seconds, gave PSV an immediate goal. A cross ball from Mohamed to Jeremy was shot in by the latter 1-0. PSV continued well and kept JVOZ under pressure. This resulted in some opportunities that were not taken. In the 17th minute JVOZ had an excellent opportunity to equalize. An attacker of JVOZ came completely free in front of the PSV goal. However, his effort was nullified by Robin with a sublime save. PSV put even more pressure forward and in the 19th minute Jeremy shot against the crossbar from 20 meters. In the rebound Jur shot over. A few minutes later there was a nice combination between Jur, Mohamed and Jeremy. The effort was turned away by the JVOZ goalkeeper. In the 24th minute, PSV extended the lead after all. A free kick by Amin from outside the penalty area was shot hard by him, 2-0. Two minutes later it was Heritier who scored. From just outside the 16-area he shot the ball in via the underside of the crossbar, 3-0. One minute before halftime it was 4-0. A nice attack, set up by Jur, was finally tapped in by Heritier.

PSV started the second half strongly. In the 37th minute this resulted in another goal after a deep ball from Nigel to Heritier. Heritier outmaneuvered a JVOZ player and played a through ball to Genrich. Genrich rounded the goalkeeper and shot at goal. Jur gave the ball the final push, 5-0. After this goal, PSV played a phase of very good football. Football was played at a high tempo and there were several nice combinations. In this phase of the match JVOZ hardly got in the game. In the 43rd minute a nice combination via several players led to the next goal. The assist was from Nigel who played the ball wide to Amin. Amin shot the ball into the far corner 6-0. PSV now completely held JVOZ. This resulted in another goal in the 51st minute. A wrong kick from the JVOZ goalkeeper ended up at the feet of Jeremy. With a shot high into the goal he signed the 7-0. A few minutes later JVOZ had another good opportunity to score. However, the shot went just wide. The final score was 7-0.
