Thursday morning’s light training session photo report

The PSV squad had a light training session at De Herdgang training centre on Thursday morning, while they were still enjoying the sweet taste of a 2-0 victory against Ajax at the Amsterdam ArenA. Lazovic was in the treatment room, but Farfán, who had picked up knocks and bruises during Wednesday night’s clash, joined his team mates for training as PSV have only two days left to prepare for the next league fixture, away against AZ on Saturday night.

The players that had made an appearance against Ajax took it easy, while some of them, including Lazovic and goalscorer Balázs Dzsudzsák, remained inside in the treatment room. Bakkal, Gomes, Farfán, Méndez and Salcido were outside on the training pitch, but after they had warmed up, they only took part in some ‘piggy in the middle’ games. The fringe players fanatically played a practice game of football at training. The squad will train on Friday morning for the last time ahead of Saturday’s clash with AZ, kicking off in Alkmaar at 20:00.
