PSV cordially welcomed in Turkey

While the PSV players withdrew to their hotel in the Asiatic part in Istanbul, the sponsors and business partners that had made the trip to the Turkish metropolis were cordially welcomed on the other bank of the Bosporus river in one of the hottest clubs in town.
The guests at Club Reina were very well looked after.
Chairman of the Board Frits Schuitema made a short speech, proposing a toast in the popular Club Reina. Two former chairmen, Jacques Ruts and Bill Mayer, have also joined the company, along with a Philips delegation, including, among other people, Harry Hendriks, CEO Philips Electronics Nederland.
But today the focus is obviously on football. Fenerbahçe SK will conduct a press conference at their training complex and train in the stadium. PSV coach Jan Wouters and goalkeeper Gomes will look ahead at Wednesday’s game at 6 p.m. Half an hour later PSV will inspect the pitch at the Sükrü Saraçoglu Stadium.
