PSV were put through their paces on Friday morning to complete preparations for the Eredivisie game away against sc Heerenveen on Saturday night. Dirk Marcellis is doubtful for tomorrow’s game. The defender completed the 90-minute training session and may be included in Huub Stevens’s traveling party.

Bounce back to winning ways
PSV hope to bounce back to winning ways from five consecutive way defeats. They will face a tall task against the Frisian side who recorded a 2-1 win in last season’s corresponding fixture. PSV were held to a 1-1 draw by sc Heerenveen at the Philips Stadium last season. PSV last claimed a win at the Abe Lenstra Stadium on 2 October 2005, when Arouna Koné scored a hat trick to secure a 3-2 victory. Referee Björn Kuipers has been appointed to take charge of the game that kicks off at 8.45pm.
Funso Ojo (in the middle) may be called up to the squad again.
