Sweden exit Euro 2012 with their heads held high after claiming a 2-0 win over France in their final Group D match in Kiev on Tuesday. Ola Toivonen and Andreas Isaksson were included in the Sweden starting line-up. Isaksson pulled off a string of fine saves to keep his side in the game.

Ukraine eliminated from Euro 2012
After hosts Poland had already made a premature exit from Euro 2012, co-hosts Ukraine were also eliminated from the tournament following a 1-0 defeat against England in Donetsk. Wayne Rooney scored the winning goal for England but the hosts were understandably upset when neither Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai nor assistant referee István Vad noticed that Marko Devic’s shot had clearly crossed the line. The first quarter-final match between the Czech Republic and Portugal is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 21, with a 20.45 kick-off.

Quarter finals:
Thursday 21 June: Czech Republic - Portugal
Friday 22 June: Germany - Greece
Saturday 23 June: Spain - France
Sunday 24 June: England - Italy
