Stefano Marzo joins Beerschot AC

Stefano Marzo has joined Beerschot AC on a three-year contract. Following in the footsteps of Funso Ojo and Stijn Wuytens, he has become the third PSV player to make a move to the Belgian First Division club. Marzo, 21, joined the PSV Academy at the start of the 2003/04 season. He rose through all the ranks and made one first-team appearance.
A four-year contract
The defender made his full PSV debut at the end of 2011 when PSV met Rapid Bucharest in a UEFA Europa League game. He has signed a four-year contract with Beerschot, with Dutch manager Adri Koster at the helm. Beerschot released a statement on its official website that said: “ We are happy to have completed a deal with Marzo, a young, hungry and talented player.” Marzo, 22 March 1991, started his career with Lommel in his native town and has now joined Beerschot for an undisclosed fee.
