Pre-season: PSV beat Nuenen 0-5

After thrashing AZSV Aalten 0-11 in their first pre-season friendly on Wednesday, PSV claimed a 0-5 victory over RKSV Nuenen three days later. Georginio Wijnaldum and Atiba Hutchinson returned to the starting line-up after they had resumed pre-season training this week. Youngster Tufan Özbozkurt was also handed a start, while Marcelo did not get playing time due to a back problem. Mertens smashed in a free kick to open the scoring and Locadia doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time. Head coach Dick Advocaat made six changes at half-time. After the break, Ritzmaier, Depay and Matavz scored goals to seal a 0-5 victory. PSV will be next in action on Wednesday when they make a trip to Germany to face Rot-Weiβ Oberhausen. The Euro 2012 internationals will return to pre-season training at De Herdgang training facilities on Thursday.
