Pieters´ Holland Under-21 continue perfect start with 3-0 win over Liechtenstein

Holland Under-21 continued their perfect start to 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign with a 3-0 over Liechtenstein at De Vliert in Den Bosch on Friday night, making it four wins from four matches in Group 4. PSV defender Erik Pieters, who wore the captain’s armband, played the full 90 minutes.

Siem de Jong scored the opening goal for the Jong Oranje after only eight minutes Falkenburg doubled the lead after the break, while John made it 3-0 in injury time. Holland Under-21 host Spain at Het Kasteel in Rotterdam on Tuesday. They now stand three points clear of Spain, having contested one game more. Holland Under-21 have scored ten goals and conceded none, in four matches.
