PSV made the most of the wintry weather as they resumed training on an artificial-turf pitch at De Herdgang training facilities on Monday, following a short break. Fred Rutten’s team will travel to Spain on Tuesday for a six-day training camp.

Ola Toivonen has an ear infection and cannot travel by plane. The Swede has got a fever and may join the squad later this week. Jonathan Reis is still in his homeland Brazil for personal reasons. PSV head coach Fred Rutten has invited the youngsters Zakaria Labyad and Yannick Rymenants to join the squad. Four goalkeepers, Isaksson, Cássio Ramos, Roorda and Zoet, will make the trip to Spain. The emphasis at the training camp in Spain will be on strength-training work as PSV prepare for the second part of the 2009/10 season.
