PSV made it into double figures in their first pre-season friendly, thrashing amateur club svDOSKO 0-11 on Saturday. Phillip Cocu´s team had taken a 0-7 lead at half-time in Bergen op Zoom. Rayhi (3), Locadia (3), Bakkali (2), Manolev, Hiljemark and Hendrix got their names on the score sheet.

0-7 half-time lead

Manolev opened the scoring for PSV in the eighth minute. Matavz turned provider and the right-back fired home from close range. PSV took a 0-4 lead after thirty minutes´ play, thanks to goals from Bakkali, Hiljemark and Locadia. Bakkali, who was outstanding, then set up two wonderful goals. First he rounded svDOSKO goalkeeper Vendrig and played in Hendrix, who simply tapped home the fifth goal of the match. Locadia made it six before the young winger himself scored a peach of a goal, unleashing a delicious curling shot from the edge of the penalty area into the top corner.

After the break, PSV went in search of more goals. Cocu made seven changes at half-time, bringing on Bertrams, Marcelo, Toivonen, Derijck, Brenet, Horsten and Rayhi. The latter, who made his PSV debut, soon made his mark. After Locadia had netted his third goal, Rayhi hit a hat-trick on his debut. Final score: 0-11. Cocu´s team will be next in action on Tuesday, when they face FC Eindhoven in the traditional Light Town derby.
