09 december 2009 13:30
PSV´s coaching staff have confirmed today that the first-team squad will travel to Valencia for a winter training camp and a friendly match. They will stay at the Spanish east coast from January 5 to 11 in order to prepare for the second part of the 2009/10 season.
PSV stayed some days in La Manga last year.
‘Train under perfect circumstances’
Last season, PSV originally to stay at home, but decided to travel to La Manga in Spain due to the wintry circumstances in Holland. PSV have chosen Spain for the second consecutive year and will play at least one friendly match. But Fred Rutten intimated that getting the team into shape for the second part of the season by training under perfect circumstances is the main reason to hold a winter training camp.
