PSV cruise to 6-1 win over MVV

Vennegoor of Hesselink scored his first goal of the season
PSV took the lead early on. Only four minutes were on the clock when Matavz´ cross found Lens, who slotted home PSV´s first goal in 2012. Matavz extended the lead after 35 minutes. PSV head coach Fred Rutten made eleven changes at half-time, also bringing on Stijn Wuytens and Atiba Hutchinson. Both players made their comeback after having been sidelined for a long spell with injuries. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink made it three, scoring his first goal of the season for PSV before Caracciolo scored a consolation goal for the visitors. Locadia netted PSV´s fourth goal of the afternoon and Strootman struck twice in the closing stages. Final score: 6-1. PSV will head for La Manga in Spain on Monday. They will face Real Murcia in an international friendly on Tuesday.
The Belgian referee has awarded a free kick to Ritzmaier.
