The Holland international will be sidelined for several weeks and has now been ruled out of contention for the first team until the New Year. ‘Sidelined for several weeks’
Engelaar has been suffering for some weeks a sore Achilles tendon on his left leg and will undergo surgery in Rotterdam to repair the problem. He will be sidelined for several weeks. Engelaar would have missed next Sunday’s league game away against Roda JC through suspension and is not available for the Cup tie at sc Heerenveen next week Wednesday, either.
