Ooijer injury blow; Afellay anckle injury

PSV will be without defender André Ooijer for some weeks. The Holland international sustained a knee injury in the closing stages of PSV´s goalless draw against FC Utrecht. Ibrahim Afellay also sustained an injury on Sunday afternoon. The midfielder was forced to leave the pitch due to an ankle injury.

Ibrahim Afellay´s ankle problem will be assessed by PSV´s medical staff on a daily basis. On Sunday, Ooijer and Afellay had already withdrawn from the Oranje squad for Saturday’s friendly against Australia.
