Luciano Narsingh signs five-year deal with PSV
Narsingh will wear the No 17 shirt for PSV
Narsingh, born in Amsterdam on 13 September 1990, has been capped twice by his country. He is PSV´s fifth summer signing after Mathias Jørgensen, Mark van Bommel, Boy Waterman and Ruud Swinkels had completed deals with PSV before. After successfully passing a medical, Narsingh put pen to paper on a five-year contract at De Herdgang training ground on Monday afternoon, in the presence of technical director Marcel Brands. The new signing will join his PSV team mates for full training on Thursday. He trained separately from the group on Monday morning, along with Ola Toivonen, under the supervision of assistant coach Ernest Faber and fitness coach Egid Kiesouw.
Narsingh started his career with the amateur club Zeeburgia in his native city Amsterdam, before he made a move to sc Heerenveen in 2008. He has been regularly called up to the Holland U-21 squad since 2010 and made his Netherlands senior debut in May 2012. Narsingh was included in his country's 23-man squad for Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, but did not see any playing time in the tournament. He has two Oranje caps to his name. Luciano Narsingh made 119 appearances for sc Heerenveen in all competitions, scoring 29 goals in the process.
