24 december 2009 12:00
Heerenveen won the Cup last season.
Should PSV progress to the next phase, they will face Feyenoord in the KNVB Cup quarter-finals. The quarter final draw took place in Enschede on Wednesday night, following the FC Twente-Helmond Sport fixture (3-0). The draw was originally to take place in Heerenveen, but the match was cancelled because the authorities could not guarantee public safety.
The postponed cup tie between sc Heerenveen and PSV has now been rescheduled for Saturday 16 January 2010, with a 19.45 kick off. The winner will play host to Feyenoord, who recorded a 1-0 victory against AZ on Tuesday night. Ajax thrashed amateur team WHC 14-1. All quarter final matches will take place on 27 January.
