Four PSV players included in Holland’s starting line-up
Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal made a late change. Arjen Robben was forced to pull out due to injury, with Jeremain Lens taking his place on the wing. His PSV team-mates Willems, Strootman and Narsingh were also handed a start. Lens broke the deadlock after just three minutes. Luciano Narsingh crossed from the right and Lens headed home from six yards: 0-1. Hungary were back on level terms within four minutes when captain Zoltán Gera was felled in the penalty area and former PSV player Dzsudzsák slotted home the resultant spot-kick: 1-1. The Netherlands regained the lead in the 18th minute through a goal from defender Bruno Martins Indi. Lens made it three after the break and set up the fourth goal for substitute Klaas-Jan Huntelaar after 74 minutes: 1-4.
