Goalkeeper Khalid Sinouh signs one-year deal with PSV

PSV have completed the signing of Khalid Sinouh on a one-year deal. The 35-year-old goalkeeper put pen to paper on his contract at the Philips Stadion on Thursday afternoon. Technical manager Marcel Brands announced that 20-year-old keeper Jeroen Zoet will be farmed out on loan next season to gain first-team experience.

Willy van der Kuylen handed Sinouh first shirt

Sinouh, who will turn 36 in May, has been added to the PSV squad to fill the vacant goalkeeping position left with the departure of Jeroen Zoet. He has signed a one-year deal with PSV. Sinouh, who joins PSV from FC Utrecht as a free agent, had spells with Haarlem, Heerenveen, RKC Waalwijk, Omonia Nicosia, AZ, Kasimpasa and HSV before. The keeper, who will attend tonight’s Europa League quarter-final second tie between PSV and Benfica, made his Morocco debut in 2004. Brands: “An experienced goalkeeper”

“Sinouh is an experienced goalkeeper and he’s also a good team player”, said PSV´s technical manager Marcel Brands. “Playing under pressure, Jeroen Zoet will gain vital first-team experience next season.”
