Germany reach Euro 2012 semi-finals

Portugal and Germany
Germany faced Euro 2004 champions Greece in Gdansk on Friday. They dominated the game entirely and captain Philipp Lahm´s swerving effort put them in front after 39 minutes. Georgos Samaras levelled on the break in the 55th minute, but Sami Khedira, Miroslav Klose and Marco Reus each scored a second-half goal to secure a convincing 4-2 victory for Germany. Greece grabbed a late consolation through a penalty from Dimitris Salpingidis. Portugal had already reached the semi-finals on Thursday after beating the Czech Republic 1-0 in Warsaw, thanks to a goal scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Saturday: Spain v France
Giants Spain and France will meet each other in a mouth-watering tie in Donetsk on Saturday night, with a 20.45 kick-off. England face Italy in the last quarter-final encounter on Sunday, June 24. Portugal will meet the winners of the quarter-final tie between Spain and France in a semi-final match, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 27.
