Fitness coach Egid Kiesouw joins PSV´s coaching staff

Fitness coach Egid Kiesouw, 49, has joined PSV´s coaching staff on a full-time basis, filling the void left by Luc van Agt´s departure. He worked part-time at De Herdgang training facilities last season. Kiesouw has gained experience and knowledge of international football and is looking forward to starting his new job at PSV.

“Great challenge”

Kiesouw fills the void left by the departure of Luc van Agt, who left PSV after nearly twenty-five seasons to become manager at InnoSportLab Papendal. After having assisted Van Agt at the World Cup WK 2010 in South Africa, Kiesouw joined PSV´s coaching staff on a part-time basis at the start of the 2011/12 season. He will now take on a role in the fitness and rehabilitation unit at PSV to work with the entire squad on a full-time basis. Kiesouw had also spells with Borussia Monchengladbach, Feyenoord, Jong Oranje and the Dutch national team, at the Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine. “It’s a great challenge for me at this point in my career to work full-time for PSV. I’m highly motivated to make a significant contribution at the club”, said Kiesouw.
