Carlos Salcido will be available for Sunday

The PSV medical staff provided the good news that defender Carlos Salcido will be available for Sunday’s clash at Ajax as an MRI scan confirmed the Mexican defender suffered no serious injury. Salcido is set to resume training later this week after he sustained an injury during Saturday’s game at NAC Breda.

An MRI scan revealed that Salcido suffered no serious injury to his knee. At first, the defender will train separately from the group but he will join his team mates for full training later this week. He is expected to be available for Sunday’s clash at Ajax. Salcido sustained the injury in the closing stages of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at NAC Breda.
