“The 2008 Superleague Formula schedule kicks off at Donington Park on 30-31 August and I am looking forward to it. We will first test the car three days at Donington. Everything is new: the organisation and the championship itself. We aim to make a huge impact and it is our ambition to reach the podium”, said Buurman, who was given a No 5 shirt. Mike Zonneveld wears the No 5 shirt, but Buurman had his name printed on a replica shirt, because he will drive the number five car this year. “I think it’s quite an honour and I’m excited to be going to Donington Park for the inaugural race.”
